Many of the heroes and villians of the Baby Boomer years were not Baby Boomers themselves. The Baby Boomers (born between 1946 and 1964) are marked thus*. Due to space restrictions, this list of people who gained notoriety for a variety of reasons between 1946 and 1985 is very selective and we apologise to anyone who believes they or someone else they know should appear on the list and do not, or are on the list and don't deserve to be.
